Cadet Master Sergeant (C/MSgt) Jy’Kyrriaunna Clayton (Hotel Flight), Cadet Airman First Class (C/A1C) Yomeda Martinez (Delta Flight) and Cadet Airman (C/Amn) Armonyca Brown (Delta Flight) led members of the Mitchell County Board of Education and guests in the Pledge of Allegiance to start the 18 April board meeting. Cadet Airman (C/Amn) Keondra Williams (Bravo Flight) was also in attendance serving as an alternate. Looking sharp and displaying “Eagle Pride”, the cadets proudly recited the pledge with all in attendance joining in! GA-946 cadets have performed over two thousand (2,000) community service hours this school year alone, making the unit one of the top in the nation. Cadets of GA-946 were recognized as an Outstanding Organization in 2016 by Headquarters, Air Force Junior ROTC, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama and earned an “Exceeds Standards” earlier this school year during their unit evaluation!
