Procedures for MCHS's Home Football Games

Mitchell County High School's Football Team will host its first home game in the new stadium (located at Mitchell County High School) on September 11. Tickets: $10. Due to COVID 19, masks are required on entry and social distancing guidelines should be followed. Children in grades 7 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult

MCHS's Senior Photos-September 19

MCHS's Senior photos will be taken on September 19, 2020 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Mitchell County High School. Information on scheduling appointments will be mailed to all seniors.

Back-To-School Information Mitchell County Schools

Click on Title for more info. We are going to do our best to make schools as safe as possible for both students and staff. Students will be divided into two groups, a morning group and an afternoon group, in order to keep class sizes small. Classes will begin at 7:55 a.m. for the morning group and dismiss at 12:00 p.m. Classes will begin at 12:05 p.m. for the afternoon group and dismiss at 4:30 p.m.

Curriculum Packets for At-Home Students

The student's curriculum packets and assignments, for parents choosing the At-Home Option for their child, may be picked up between the hours of 5-7 p.m. on Monday, August 3 at their child's school.

MCSS Will Be Closed February 6, 2020

The Mitchell County School System (MCSS) will be closed on Thursday, February 6, 2020 (faculty, staff, and dual enrollment students) due to inclement weather conditions. We will resume regular school hours on Friday, February 7, 2020.
